AVOIDING DRUGS IS NOT A CHOICE, IT IS A MUST

 

                     

Thank you for the chance that given to me to deliver my speech. First, I want to say thank to God because of his blessings to us until now. And also I thank to all of of you for listening my speech today. My title of my speech is avoding drugs is not a choice, it is a must.

 Drugs are illegal substances that some people usually enjoy them (drugs) by smoking, injecting, drinking, or even eating themto get the physical and mental effects it has. Many students consume drugs for having fun or for other reasons. They (drugs) aredistributed in the environment through particular networks. The drug dealers are commonly put students as their main targets.It takes several phases for them to deceive the students. At the beginning, the students will consume it as a free try. After a period of time, they gradually become drug addicts and have willing to always buy and consume them. The sale of drugs is done in a very careful and neat way and it is undeniable that students are also involved on dealing with it.

Based on observation, students are mostly consuming drugs because of stress factor. For instance, they have no idea on solving their own problems, like family problem. The disorder in the family makes drugs seen as an interesting way to escape from the problem they are facing. It is intended to calm down their instant thoughts. Besides, the other factor is poverty. In some cases, poverty makes the students enforce themselves to involve on selling and dealing the drugs in order to get the money. The result of the observation shows that most of the drugs consumers become addicts afterwards.

The students do not realize that drugs consumption brings lots of negative impacts for them, it can be intelligence decreases, mental disorder, death and many kinds of diseases. Another consequence is that it is very hard to recover from this impact or they should deal with drugs rehabilitation with a very high cost. Many cases are found that rehabilitation cannot recover the patients effectively because of the worst condition.

By all those facts, without any further consideration, I highly suggest all students to not to consume any kind of drugs, simply because they surely can destroy the health of body’s vital organs that is resulting in a suffering and death.It hears that simple but it is not at all. Can we all imagine if we have that kind of conditions within the young generations? Be firm to yourself, never try to touch and approach them. Drugs are very harmful for the generations.  You are still long, please do love yourself. Catch your bright future with success.

It is true that drugs are used on the doctor’s prescription and recommendation on the certain disease. But it is not an excuse for those who illegally in practice. Before going further, indeed the government must take an action soon to fight against drugs to save our generation from destruction.

I conclude that the drugs abuse among the students is very harmful. I hope that all the students not to try to consume drug, stay away from it. Remember that you are still young. Our country depends the young generations. Do not put drugs as your part of choices, your only choice is rejecting them.

YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYE

Synopsis

        You Are The Apple of My Eye is a film adaptation of a novel of the same title essay Giddens Ko, the film was directed directly by Giddens Ko and the soundtrack was written by Giddens Ko. You Are the Apple of My Eye filmed entirely on location around Changhua County, including Giddens high school first. You Are the Apple of My Eye makes its world premiere at the Film Festival Taipei to-13 on June 25, 2011, then released in theaters Taiwan on August 19, 2011 and scored a record box office in Taiwan and Singapore, also won Film of China and Taiwan Best Reviewed Hong Kong Film award 31.

The film tells about the life of a high school kid named Ko Theng who has the famous rogue gangs. As a result of his behavior, Ko Ching teng (played by Ko Chen-Tung) should move to the front seat of the famous girl and smartest in the class. This girl named Shen Chia Yi (played by Michelle Chen), smart famous since junior high school and became the target of the boys at school, including friends Ko Theng namely Bochun, A Ho, Lao Tsao, Liao Ying Hung
Shen Chia Yi began disturbed by the presence of Ko te Ching. He is always doing other activities when the process of learning. That what makes Shen Chia Yi felt uneasy while studying. Until one day, there are moments that changed her about Ko te Ching. This is the turning point began their love story that brought the unusual story with some very sad scene.

The scene of the most preferred:

1. When Ko Theng give the book to Chia-yi so ga punished and therefore Ko-teng must jump squats while carrying a chair. Then when Ko Theng says,

"It turns out, when you are very, very fond of women. when there is someone who loved her, loved her. then you will truly from the heart's deepest pray happily ever after "

2. When Ko Theng calls Chia-Yi. They talk about the memories when they are in junior and senior high schools. In that conversation I find a sentence which is very romantic.

"The most beautiful is when the days approach"

3. When Ko Ji-Teng and friends threw their Principal with bags when they asked to accuse one of their friends stole cash missing class. Consequently, they are punished, the real friendship guys.

Public opinion

1. I like You Are the Apple of My Eye movie because First, the plot is forward and backward.The first scene in the movie is as the end of the story. When Ko-Teng bitting an apple before going to the wedding of Chia-Yi with her friends, then suddenly he flashbacks to those high school days when he first gets to know Chia-Yi. Flashback almost 2 hours, and then back again to the scene when he went to the wedding of his adolescent love. Second, the film You Are The Apple of My Eye has many aphorisms express poetic and very touching, Giddens Ko seemed to express the feelings of his characters with the sentences to be honest but far from being too much. Third, and the most I like about this film, is the story is real-life. The story continues that often happens with adolescent. So more easily to understand the story.

2. I do not like the way of thought and behavior of Ko-Teng which insensitive with Chia-Yi’s feelings. Feel so annoyed when i watch this film because in real life, there are a lot of men who has childish attitude than women who are always trying to mature in order to maintain the relationship as they desire. During the movie You Are The Apple of My Eye, i do not like some vulgar scene. Just like when Ko-Theng at home, he is always naked and her mother was not bothered. Funny anyway, but it doesnt make sense.

Mandate / Message

You Are My Apple Of My Eye movie teaches how sweet the meaning of friendship and true love. Although they like the same women (Shen Chia Yi), but they are not hostile.

I WANNA BE A STUDENT

Now I am at the end of my steps
After I'd been running.
Three years that I have gone through.
A bucket knowledge in high school is all I hold.

I am trying to see,
but nothing could be seen
Closing my eyes and there is no hope
that what I called "dream" in the past.
Now living by my fight

Dozens obstacles come and go in centuries
Life challenges will be always changing
and I am gradually losing the high school meaning
Said won but nothing

My eyes go to all corners
Sitting and wishing
term of study comes up insufficiently
Because a living needs grad

Could this be an opportunity for me
Arranging hope for the future.
I just want to be Student
There's the creator matching expectations
